The Clemson Tigers won over Ohio State in the BCS Orange Bowl on ESPN on Friday night and quarterback Tajh Boyd and coach Dabo Swinney got the best of Braxton Miller and Urban Meyer, winning 40-35 to get the victory.

The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Clemson Tigers are playing the final BCS matchup of the season apart from the national championship game and the Orange Bowl will be site of the game on Friday night and it starts up on ESPN on TV starting at 8:30 pm ET and has two of the best offensive units and athletic quarterbacks in the nation on the field in Braxton Miller and Tajh Boyd.

Ohio State comes into the matchup off of a big disappointment, as the Buckeyes lost against the Michigan State Spartans in the Big Ten Championship game to end two years of undefeated play and now Urban Meyer will be looking to get his team to bounce back. Clemson is coming into the game after a loss as well and that was to their rivals in South Carolina and each of these teams will be motivated to play well on Friday night and that could turn things into a shootout down in Florida. The Buckeyes were barely challenged this season, but they were able to pull out the final regular season game against Michigan after allowing the potential game tying touchdown with under a minute left and now they will play against the lowest ranked team they have had this season apart from Michigan State in Clemson and they are a team that can score with the Buckeyes.

The Tigers come into the matchup with one of the most productive players in the country in Boyd and he has been the primary playmaker for the team with nearly 30 touchdowns on the season and are looking to get back on the winning side of things in the Orange Bowl. Both teams come into the game gaining over 500 yards total per game and they are ranked in the top 10 in scoring with over 40 points per game and that is likely how the team will try and win the game, as Ohio State can put up points just as well and they are averaging nearly 50 per contest.

Boyd and Sammy Watkins are an electric duro for Clemson and the wideout comes into the game with over 1,200 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on the year, while Boyd passed for 3,473 yards and now has the chance to have a big game on a national stage on ESPN. The Tigers lost a rough game to the Florida State Seminoles earlier in the season and the team won the rest of their games before falling in the finale to their state rivals in the Gamecocks. The team comes in scoring over 40 points per game and they are allowing just 21, but they haven't seen a rushing team like Ohio State this season and they will have to make sure they don't let Carlos Hyde go wild like he did against the Wolverines.
