The Alex Rodriguez saga has continued into 2014 and with a decision looming on his 211-game ban given by Bud Selig, many have wondered when will the announcement be made and it looks like the news could come this week or the following week, but likely not next week, as the Baseball Hall of Fame will be announcing their inductees and no one wants that marred by A-Rod.

According to ESPN NY, speculation has the decision coming this week on Thursday or Friday, but not next week due to the Hall of Fame announcement. The report says that if the decision does not get handed down this week, it likely will come the following week next Friday and if not then, you guessed it, the week after.

Either way, a decision is coming and if it is upheld, you can expect and appeal from A-Rod. Many speculate that the ruling will bring down the amount of games to around 100.
