The NFC playoffs schedule is nearly set with the Cowboys and Eagles playing for the final postseason spot and the wild card games next weekend has the Green Bay Packers hosting the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints will be playing against Dallas or Philadelphia and that has the Seattle Seahawks and the Carolina Panthers getting the first round byes and the Hawks have the number one seed in the conference.

The Niners and the Packers will be playing for the second straight season and this time the game will be at Lambeau Field and it comes after the game was in the Bay area last season and they made it into the number five seed after winning against the Cardinals, knocking the Saints into the number six seed for the playoffs. The Niners finished the season 12-4 and the Packers come in with the number four seed after winning a thrilling game over the Bears for the NFC North division title and that was on an amazing play from Aaron Rodgers to Randall Cobb and that came on a fourth and seven play that the Bears thought they had covered and now Rodgers will once again play against his childhood favorite team.

The Saints will visit either Dallas or Philly after that game ends next week and the Seattle Seahawks and the Carolina Panthers will be the teams that are waiting for the other games to shake out. The Seahawks ended up winning out the number one seed after coming out on top on Sunday night and now Seattle will be getting whoever is the lowest seed left after the wild card games and then the Panthers will be playing the other seed that is left over and that comes after they snuck in and won the NFC South.

Here is a quick rundown about the Packers, as they will play against the 49ers after defeating the Chicago Bears in a crazy game to get into the postseason as the NFC North division winners. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers heaved a 48-yard touchdown bomb to Randall Cobb with 38 seconds left to lift the Green Bay Packers to a thrilling 33-28 win over the Chicago Bears that gave them the NFC North title on Sunday.

Rodgers was playing in his first game after missing seven contests with a broken collarbone and Cobb was returning after being out 10 games with a broken leg, but the pair connected on a fourth-and-eight from the 48-yard line in the showdown game. The victory improved the Packers to 8-7-1 and dropped Chicago to 8-8. Green Bay will host a playoff game during next weekend's wildcard round of playoffs. (Reuters)
