Dec 29, 2013 12:35 PM EST

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming into Week 17 of the NFL season with a chance to make the playoffs and while their odds are slim, the team knows for anything to happen they have to win against the Cleveland Browns in an AFC North division matchup and the game is on CBS starting up at 1 pm and streaming online from the NFL.com website and comes after the Steelers won a thriller over the Packers to stay alive in the postseason hunt from Heinz Field.

The Steelers need a complicated five way tie to play out and it includes a team not even in the playoffs in the Jets and along with the Miami Dolphins, the Steelers, Baltimore Ravens and San Diego Chargers are fighting for the final playoff spot in the AFC. The Steelers need to win and have everyone else lose to stay alive, as they are trying to get to .500 while everyone else is above it already and by odds, the Miami Dolphins have the best chance to make it into the playoffs, while the Steelers have the toughest odds, as they need to finish at 8-8 along with everyone else and they would win out on some of the tiebreakers due to division and conference records.

Ben Roethlisberger pulled out a win for the team against the Packers after nearly allowing a big comeback and Le'Veon Bell had a nice game with over 120 rushing yards for the Steelers and he led the team with over 750 yards this season, while Big Ben went over 4,000 passing yards for another season and the team is 3-2 in the AFC North and they can finish two games over .500 with a win against the Browns and while they don't control their own destiny, the Steelers need to win to have a chance to making it in and they need a big game from Antonio Brown, who has been the number one receiver with Mike Wallace leaving and he has come through with over 1,400 receiving yards this season and the team is playing against a solid Browns defense and Cleveland will be missing the playoffs yet again this season.

The Steelers started the season with four losses in a row and then won their next two and then five of the next seven to get back to respectability and now they are looking to try and make the playoffs and they come in with a top ranked passing offense and a solid passing defense, ranked eighth in yards allowed per game and while Bell has been solid, the rushing attack has not been consistent all season. The Browns come in with a solid defense, ranking in the top 10 in passing yards per game and the team is allowing over 100 rushing yards per contest and while the team has had Jason Campbell playing, they have been putting up solid passing numbers and now the team has Josh Gordon looking to finish his season strong and he is clearly the best player and the best chance for the team Sunday, as he has over 1,500 yards in a breakout season and he had 200 yards in two straight games for the first time in history.
