Brazil's Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Anderson Silva celebrates after defeating Japan's Yushin Okami during the UFC Rio, a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) competition in Rio de Janeiro August 27."

The UFC 168 event is live in Las Vegas on Pay-Per-View and online for the big fight between Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva and the other main draw for the event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena is Ronda Rousey against Miesha Tate and that should be a very entertaining match and the live blog coverage can be followed as the fights go on and there are a number of preliminary and main card fights on Saturday night.

The Weidman and Silva fight comes last and will be the main event on the fight card draw and Silva comes in 33-5 and Weidman remains undefeated after winning their first match and some of the other main card draws included Travis Browne vs. Josh Barnett, Jim Miller vs. Fabricio Camoes as well as Dustin Poirier vs. Diego Brandao. The Silva match against Weidman is for the Middleweight title, while the Tate and Rousey match comes after their Strikeforce battle and Rousey is 7-0 in matches in MMA and is for the UFC Women's Bantamweight title and that could be a very entertaining match after the two have gone back and forth at each other on TV and in the media and that makes the match one that could get very heated depending on what goes down.

The knockout for Silva and Weidman came last July and the two made weight with all the other fighters for the event earlier in the week and even though he won last time, Weidman is still considered the underdog and it will be interesting to see how the fight plays out. The women's battle is the co-main event for UFC 168 and last time Rousey fought Tate she won the title on an armbar in the first round and that makes this fight full of potential drama. Silva comes in just 3-2 in his last five matches, while Weidman is 5-0 and both fighters will be looking for a positive result and hopefully a longer match than last time. Rousey hasn't been in the octagon for a while and during her time off between fights she filmed parts in a couple of big films with the Fast and the Furious and the Expendables 3 and now she is ready for another challenge in the ring and she has been very confident about her chances against Tate.
