The Baltimore Ravens and the Detroit Lions are matching up in a very important game on the Week 15 schedule in the NFL for Monday night football and the game will be coming from Ford Field and is a welcome return indoors for both teams after playing in the snow last week and the ESPN presentation will be on TV starting up at 8:30 pm and streaming from the WatchESPN website online.

The Lions played one of the crazier games last week with the Philadelphia Eagles in the snow and the elements made for an amazing visual and forced Detroit into some bad turnovers and now they must rebound against the Ravens. Detroit was burned for over 100 yards from LeSean McCoy in a matter of minutes and he ended up rushing for over 200 yards in the game and now the Lions must hunker down on Monday night against Ray Rice and the team now comes in with the fifth ranked rushing defense in yards per game in the league. The team is allowing just less than 100 yards per contest and the passing defense has been suspect and they will have to be tough and aggressive on Joe Flacco on Monday, as he has Torrey Smith and Dennis Pitta and the Ravens have been solid moving the ball the past few weeks and this game could turn into a shootout. The game offers the Ravens a chance to fully get back into the AFC North race after the Bengals lost.

The Steelers took down the Bengals in a dominating game on Sunday night football at home and now the Ravens have the chance to win the division and they are taking shape like they did last year at the end of the schedule. The team rode an amazing wave of play from Joe Flacco last season and he has started to come on this year at the end with the return of Pitta and they have a chance to get right into things with a win, as they finish the season with games against the New England Patriots and the Cincinnati Bengals and that game is on the road after the two teams already played this year earlier on the schedule.

The Lions let McCoy rush for 217 yards last week and reports say that the team with have Reggie Bush at full strength on Monday night along with Joique Bell and that gives the team one of the best one-two punches in the NFL this season. Calvin Johnson has been amazing once again and he will be the main focus for the Baltimore Ravens defense and the Lions come in having lost three of their last four matchups and they have to rebound to keep pace in the NFC North division. The Chicago Bears were able to pull out a win against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday and now they have the advantage in the division and with the Lions winning both games, they need to catch up to the team and that starts on MNF.

The Ravens pulled off a great win against the Vikings last week that saw a number of lead changes and touchdowns all in the final minutes and the team came out on top and now they have a clear shot at the playoffs and the division. The ravens have been up and down all season and now they are starting to hit their groove and that could mean trouble for the AFC. The team has won three straight games since losing four of five games and the team now has two of three on the road with the Lions and Bengals to end things, while they host Tom Brady and company next week and that game is huge as well. The game on Monday night football starts up at 8:30 pm on ESPN.
