The NCAA college football bowl season is here and the schedule has some great BCS games and other FBS teams playing in bowl games and that leads up to the VIZIO BCS National Championship between Florida State and Auburn and teams like Alabama, Michigan State, Stanford, Clemson, Ohio State Oklahoma will be playing in the final BCS set of games.

Florida State has been one of the best teams in college football this season and after going undefeated over the year, they will be the favorites in the national championship against Auburn and the Tigers got in after an amazing run down the stretch that saw multiple miracle wins against Georgia and then against Alabama in the Iron Bowl and that game was one of the most exciting of the season and possibly the best finish in history. Alabama was the top team in the nation all season and it appeared they would be able to get into the championship game after going toe to toe with Auburn, but on the final play of the game, we all know what happened and now they will be playing in the Sugar Bowl against Oklahoma and that could be the best non-BCS game on the schedule.

Oklahoma comes in behind Baylor in the Big 12 after they knocked off Oklahoma State and they could be a surprise team in the BCS and one of the other intriguing matchups is the Ohio State Buckeyes taking on the Clemson Tigers. The team lost in the Big Ten championship game against Michigan State and now the Spartans will play against Stanford in the Rose Bowl and after not losing for two years, OSU will get into the Orange Bowl after nearly sneaking into the championship game against Florida State. IT would have been an interesting debate if Ohio State made it in undefeated, but the BCS arguably worked in its final year and now there will be a playoff next season and a team like Alabama wouldn't be hurt by losing late even if they are considered the best team in college football.

Bama finished third in the BCS rankings, while Oklahoma was at 11 and Ohio State ended up at number seven and now Urban Meyer will have to play for the Orange after hoping to get respect into the national title game. The Rose Bowl is a classic Big Ten and Pac-12 matchup with Michigan State and Stanford and that game has two hard nosed defensive teams going up against each other and that could be one of the best games of the schedule this season in 2013 and 2014. The full bowl schedule can be found on ESPN and check here for predictions for games from SWR, we think Auburn can win the championship over FSU.
