Jameis Winston Press Conference Live Stream: Accuser's Lawyer Speaks About Sexual Assault and Rape Case Against Florida State QB

Dec 13, 2013 10:40 AM EST

The Jameis Winston sexual assault case had not charges filed and that has cleared the way for the Florida State quarterback to win the Heisman Trophy and the lawyer for the victim in the case is holding a press conference to speak about issues involving the case, including the police possibly covering up the case.

Patricia Carroll is representing the woman in the case and after Leon County State Attorney Willie Meggs said that charges would not be filed in the case, she felt compelled to come out and speak and released a statement. She claimed that the case was messed up from the start and that the police investigated the victim more than Winston and the lawyer said that she did not know who Winston was in regards to him being a quarterback for the team.

During the press conference she spoke about problems with the police investigation as well as that the investigation should be looked at, as it was messed up buy police from the start. Winston will win the Heisman and will get the hero worship, but no one really knows what went down and while he was not faced with charges that does not mean he did not rape the girl and clearly being a star quarterback in Tallahassee is better than being a rape victim. There has been issues with the medical records and other issues regarding interviews and the investigation into the case.
