The Monday Night Football matchup for Week 14 of the NFL season is a matchup of two premier franchises in the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears and the game on ESPN gets started just past 8:25 pm and will be streaming live online from Soldier Field.

The Bears and Cowboys both need to win keep in the hunt for their respective divisions and with rival teams in the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers winning, the playoff race in the NFC is getting even tighter. The matchup should have two big name quarterbacks with Tony Romo and Jay Cutler, but the Bears starter has been banged up in the second half of the season and that means it once again will be Josh McCown in the lineup, but that hasn't been all bad for Chicago, as he has put up solid numbers and also led the team to a victory against the Packers in Green Bay at Lambeau Field.

The Cowboys need to finish strong to get into the playoffs and that would be a change from the last two seasons when the team was defeated in the final matchup on the schedule, including two years ago to the Giants and last season to the Redskins and now the Cowboys will have the chance to play the Week 17 game at home and with the Eagles coming to town, they have a good chance to win. The Cowboys need to win to stay with the Eagles in the division standings and the team is playing a Bears squad that has lost two straight on the road, including a tough game in overtime last Sunday to the Vikings. The Bears have to play too more games on the road this season with the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles and then the team will end the season at home against the Green Bay Packers and that could have divisional implications as well.

Witten and Bryant are the leading receivers on the team and they have combined for 15 touchdown this season, with Bryant leading with 68 receptions for 896 yards. The Bears duo of Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall have been insanely good this season and they have combined for 14 touchdowns, while Jeffery has 70 catches for over 1,100 yards, while Marshall is getting close to the 1K mark as well. Matt Forte has been reborn under head coach Marc Trestman and he will be a focus for both teams on Monday night, as the Bears have loved giving him the ball in space and the screen is something the Cowboys are weak against. The game on ESPN starts up at 8:30 pm from Soldier Field for the Week 14 MNF matchup.
