The English Premier League schedule on Saturday had a number of exciting matchups and the final game on the schedule is Tottenham taking on Sunderland and the match will be at the Stadium of Light and comes after the team got a win against Fulham last week and now they will try and work their way up the EPL table with a nice performance on the afternoon.

Stoke City held a 3-2 lead at one point over Chelsea and last week Tottenham got goal from Vlad Chiriches and then the winner late from Lewis Holtby for the 2-1 victory after Fulham was able to stroke first and now the team will try and continue on with another good result on Saturday. Tottenham is currently sixth on the table and now the gap between Arsenal and Manchester City is five points after Man City drew on Saturday and Chelsea looks like they will fall and that is a big result for the table, as Liverpool won on Saturday and they are second on the table with the Blues and Manchester United also suffered another tough defeat.

Luis Suarez scored yet again for Liverpool in their win over West Ham United and it was another dominating victory, as the team added three of their goals before a fourth on an own goal and they took the victory 4-1. Southampton and Manchester City played to a draw on Saturday, while Crystal Palace got the win over Cardiff City and now Chelsea has been defeated by Stoke City and that is a massive result and that is one of the best wins of the season. Tottenham and Sunderland are the later game and on Sunday Fulham and Aston Villa will be playing, while Arsenal and Everton will be playing at Emirates Stadium.

From news earlier in the week: Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is unsure whether to stick with the attacking trio he lauded after the midweek win at Sunderland or recall his number one playmaker Oscar for Saturday's tricky Premier League game at Stoke City.

Eden Hazard stole the show in the 4-3 victory at Sunderland on Wednesday, scoring twice and setting up a goal for Frank Lampard, while Mourinho also spoke glowingly about the contributions of the Belgian's attacking partners Juan Mata and Willian.

Brazilian Oscar missed the trip after limping off with an ankle injury during Sunday's 3-1 triumph at home to Southampton but is now ready to return for second-placed Chelsea who are four points adrift of leaders Arsenal.

"Oscar is much better and I have to decide whether to play him or not," Mourinho told a news conference on Friday.

The Portuguese is again without knee-injury victim David Luiz. Fit-again Samuel Eto'o could take over from Fernando Torres in attack while out-of-favour England left back Ashley Cole may come back in place of Cesar Azpilicueta.

"David Luiz is out, I don't know when I'll have him back,' said Mourinho.

"Eto'o is fine and back with the group. Tomorrow or Wednesday Ashley will play," added the Chelsea manager referring to the home Champions League game against Steaua Bucharest in midweek.

"We've been analyzing the three goals at Sunderland and we couldn't find the real mistake. We could find the rebound, the second ball, the ball that hits somebody and goes in the direction of the opponent.

"For all three goals we were trying to find defensive positional mistakes in relation to the way we prepared for the game but there was not one mistake."

Stoke are 14th in the table and managed by former Chelsea favorite Mark Hughes. United manager David Moyes was in defiant mood ahead of the home Premier League game against Newcastle United on Saturday.

The champions lost 1-0 to Everton at Old Trafford on Wednesday, their first defeat in 13 matches leaving them 12 points behind league leaders Arsenal.

Moyes has struggled since taking over from Alex Ferguson in July, and the visit of Newcastle, who had won four games in a row before losing at Swansea in midweek, could prove to be another difficult match. Phil Jones could return in midfield after missing the Everton game due to suspension but with Michael Carrick still injured Moyes lacks quality options in the middle of the park.

Marouane Fellaini produced another lackluster display against his former club and Moyes has been reluctant to start Tom Cleverley or Anderson, placing great responsibility on the shoulders of the evergreen Ryan Giggs.

The 40-year-old excelled in last week's 5-0 Champions League win at Bayer Leverkusen but missed the 2-2 draw at Tottenham on Sunday and failed to shine against Everton's hard-working and organized formation.
