The FIFA World Cup draw is live on Friday from Brazil and the coverage is being followed along closely on Twitter with live updates and group picks and the selections are coming from the various pots and the top teams are waiting for the draw and 32 teams will be picked from pots into the eight groups.

The first pot has Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Spain, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland as the host nation and the FIFA ranked teams and now representatives for each team picking groups. The teams will split into groups B through H with Brazil coming into group A and all the nations are hoping to avoid the Group of Death, which could include some past winners and tough clubs from around the world. The teams in pot 2 are going into the draw next after the first one and there are tough teams like Chile, the Ivory Coast and Nigeria, while pot three has the United States, Mexico and a number of other tough teams.

The fourth pot has the unseeded European teams and that should make things tough, as England, Russia, Italy and France are all in that pot. The groups are going to be very interesting and depending on where placements are, that could mean teams have to travel thousands of miles for the tournament games.

The United State is hoping for a favorable draw, but this could be one of the deepest in recent memory, as the past eight winners are all there and the draw should be very tough this time around. The draw will take over and hour and splits up the 32 teams in the bracket and those games will be played over the summer in the opening rounds of the Cup and the teams are getting placed now. Colombia is in Group c.
