Nov 30, 2013 03:24 PM EST

The Georgia Bulldogs have been in the middle of a very tough season and the team dealt with the wrong end of a miracle play against the Auburn Tigers two weeks ago and after winning against Kentucky the team now faces off against rival Georgia Tech and it will be without star quarterback Aaron Murray and the game will be live on TV on ABC starting up at 3:30 pm and streaming online for the rivalry week contests between SEC and ACC teams.

Georgia has dealt with some tough losses this season, including to Clemson in the first game of the year and later to Missouri and while the team went 2-3 against the top 25, they had a tough schedule and did all they could, but they couldn't get back to the SEC championship game like they did last season. Murray had the team a play away from a possible national title run over Alabama, but now he will be out for his final game in a Bulldogs uniform after leading the team in passing yards with 3,000 on the season and Todd Gurley led the team in rushing with over 780 yards and this season Georgia went 5-3 in the SEC and 4-2 within their division in the east. Missouri is in position for the SEC championship game and they come into the matchup with Tech after winning a big game against Kentucky and that came after the miracle win for Auburn against the Bulldogs and the team has now won three of the past four games after losing two in a row to the Tigers and Vanderbilt.

Georgia rebounded from their early loss against Clemson with four straight wins and the team has been streaky all season, losing two after that streak and then winning two again before losing and then winning and now the team has a matchup with Georgia Tech that could set them up for a better bowl game and sadly it will be without Murray either way after he was injured and the team comes in averaging nearly 40 points per game and the team ranks 15th in the nation in passing yards per game and they are facing one of the best rushing teams in the nation. Tech averages over 300 yards per game on the ground to rank fifth in the nation and the team is also scoring nearly 40 points per game and the defense has been solid with 21 points per contest allowed.
