Florida State Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston (5) signs autographs for fans after the game against the Idaho Vandals at Doak Campbell Stadium. The team plays the Gators on Saturday."

The Florida State Seminoles have one last chance to slip up before the ACC championship game and with the team in position for a national title chance against Alabama, Saturday's game against the Florida Gators is the regular season finale and the rivalry game gives the Gators a chance to get back on track after a terrible season and the game starts up on ESPN starting at 12 PM noon and streaming from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium from the WatchESPN website.

Jameis Winston has been the center of it all for the Seminoles this season and now his status is up in the air as the Florida DA decides whether to charge him in a sexual assault case or not and that has hung a cloud over FSU, but that won't stop Winston from plating or the team from trying to win. Last week the team did not let it bother them in a stomping of Idaho that ended 80-14 and Winston ended up with over 200 passing yards and now he goes up against a team that came into the season with high expectations but has played terribly in the Gators, as they have limped to a 4-7 finish and the team is just 3-5 in the SEC. Florida State comes in 3-0 against the top 25 this season and they are 8-0 in the ACC and will be in the conference championship game and if all holds, they will play the Crimson Tide for the championship. Winston is leading the team with over 3,000 yards passing and the Seminoles are averaging over 50 points per game.

Florida State comes in ranked 14th in the nation in passing yards with over 300 per game, while the team is 32rd in rushing yards with over 200 and they average over 500 total yards per contest. The team is ranked second in the nation in both scoring offense and defense, as they are scoring 55 points per game and allowing under 12 and Alabama is the first ranked defense with under 10 points allowed per game. FSU comes in after big wins over Idaho, Syracuse and Wake Forest as well as Miami this month and that game against the Hurricanes was when The U was ranked number seven in the nation. FSU has two nice top 10 wins this season against Miami and Clemson and the team has not even played a close game this season, with the closest being against Boston College back in September and that wasn't even that close.

Winston has 32 touchdowns this season and while he looks like a favorite for the Heisman Trophy, his issues off the field may hold him back from that. The team has not scored less than 41 points this season and over the past three games the Seminoles have been over 55 points in each and have allowed just 20 total points in that span and the defense has allowed over 20 points just once all season. This year Florida is simply not the team that can pull of an upset, as their offense is horrible and they are gaining just over 300 yards per game and the passing offense ranked 105th in the nation and the team is coming off of a terrible loss to the Georgia Southern Eagles.

The Gators come into the back stretch of the season having lost six games in a row, including to South Carolina and Georgia as well as Missouri and this season the team is 0-2 against the top 25 and that likely will be 0-3 on Saturday against the Seminoles. The team started the season 3-1 and 3-0 in the SEC, but after that things did not go well and now the team enters the final game hoping for some positive play and praying for an upset and heading into next season Will Muschamp is one coach that will be on the hot seat. The game starts on ESPN at 12 pm noon for the Florida State Seminoles and the Florida Gators.
