The Los Angeles Clippers and the Oklahoma City Thunder came into the season expecting to be two of the best teams in the NBA and so far they have both gotten off to solid starts and now the clubs will meet on Thursday night in a game at Chesapeake Energy Arena airing on TNT starting up at 8:00 pm in the first of a doubleheader and the game will be streaming from the channel and the league pass.

The Clippers are coming into the game for the second matchup in a back to back after defeating the surprisingly solid Timberwolves on the road on Wednesday night by four points and after playing against Kevin Durant and the Thunder the team will head back home for a matchup with the Sacramento Kings in an all California matchup against the Sacramento Kings. Chris Paul led the Clippers against Minnesota in the victory with 20 points while DeAndre Jordan has 12 rebounds and Paul led the team in assists with 11 for a double-double and now the team will take on the always tough to beat at home Thunder. Durant and Russell Westbrook have been playing very well this season and the Clippers will have to play much better defense than they have to get the victory, as they are allowing over 104 points per game this season through 12 contests.

The Thunder comes in 7-3 on the season and the Clippers are 8-4 and Los Angeles has been scoring in bunches with Paul and Blake Griffin running the show, averaging nearly 110 points this season while also ranking second in assists per game with 25 each contest. The Thunder and Clippers are built in a similar way and Oklahoma City is ranked 23rd in the NBA with over 100 points allowed per game and they are in the top 10 in scoring, behind the Clippers a bit with over 104 points per game. The Thunder have been excellent on the boards, ranking first in the league in rebounds per game, while they are also 18th in assists per game.

The team comes in after a two points win at home against the Denver Nuggets and after hosting the Thunder the team welcomes the Utah Jazz to Oklahoma City and that should be an easy game since they are the worst team in the league. The Thunder are scoring in bunches and they are currently second in the northwest division behind the Portland Trail Blazers, as they have 10 wins already on the season. Durant is leading the team in scoring with 29.6 points per game and after playing against the Jazz the team has a big matchup with the San Antonio Spurs and on Thursday night they will be looking for their third straight win after having two losses in a row, including one to the Clippers. After playing the Spurs the team has the Golden State Warriors on the schedule and heading into next month they have a road trip coming up, which includes games against the Kings, Blazers and Pelicans.
