The NFL free agent market still has some big names like Tim Tebow and Michael Turner out there and the Denver Broncos dipped into the pool on Tuesday, as they signed safety Michael Huff to a deal after dealing with injuries in the secondary with Rahim Moore out.
According to Pro Football Talk, the Broncos brought in Huff after he was previously released by the Ravens last month and that came after he was let go by the Oakland Raiders in the offseason. Huff was getting attention from some teams and now the 30-year-old will take over for Moore, who was injured against the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday and will be out with a leg injury. Huff was a former top 10 pick for the Raiders and he was let go as the team tried to get the salary cap number down heading into the season, ditching names like Huff and Darrius Heyward-Bey.
Tebow and Turner have not gotten much attention this season, with Tebow only getting a small sniff from the St. Louis Rams and now they both still are waiting for a chance.
