One MLB 2014 free agent heavily attracting attention is former Milwaukee Brewer, Corey Hart. Yes, he prone to injury, but Hart is still one of the hottest tickets on the market, attracting plenty of attention from teams around the league. Who is in on the mix? No surprise here. Check out who is willing to take a chance on Hart in 2014.

Boston Red Sox: No Napoli?
After a tremendous season despite having avascular necrosis, Mike Napoli could possibly earn a huge contract. He came up big with the Red Sox in 2013 during the regular season and continued to rake in the postseason, hitting timely bombs and driving in big runs for the World Champions. Because of this, the Red Sox are wasting no time trying to find a filler at first base.

Hart, according to MLB Trade Rumors, has lost 20 pounds and is confident he can run faster. This will likely help his all-around game on the field and potentially once again make Hart a threat at the plate. From 2010-2012, he hit 87 home runs, driving in 248 runs while hitting .279. As a righty, Fenway Park simply makes sense as the Green Monster willl be target practice.

Tampa Bay Rays: Loney Leaving?
Another free agent first baseman, James Loney, is looking for work. The Rays could only imagine that Hart would be a cheaper option. After missing the entire 2013 season, Hart will likely get offers jammed with incentives. It is clear he was a great hitter before his chronic knee problems that saw him miss a lot of time in recent years. The Rays could be a great spot for Hart because there is never pressure for any of these Rays to perform.

Colorado Rockies: Helton Gone
The Rockies have nobody to play first base. It is that simple. They have been continuously rumored to having interest in acquiring a number of first basemen around the league. With no Helton in the lineup and no first baseman to consistently provide pop, why not take a chance on Hart.

Hart was an outfielder for most of his career, but after his injuries, it would make no sense placing the 32-year-old. If a team is willing to invest on Hart, the best thing they can do is protect the veteran.
