Sweden vs. Portugal Live Stream: Watch Online World Cup Qualifying ESPN Streaming UEFA Match

Nov 19, 2013 02:22 PM EST

The World Cup qualifiers for the UEFA teams are continuing with playoff matchups on Tuesday and the second leg between Sweden and Portugal is going down after Portugal took the early lead and the match will be starting at 8:45 pm local time and 2:45 PM ET and on live TV from ESPN2 and streaming on the Watch ESPN website from Friends Arena in Stockholm.

The match has two of the best players in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic and now both players will try and get their team into the World Cup in Brazil in 2014 and each side knows how tough the other one is. The match will be on TV in England from Sky Sports and streaming from the network stream app and after Ronaldo scored in the first leg, Sweden will now have to recover to try and win the second leg at home and that could be a tough test against a very solid team led by Ronaldo, who will obviously be the focus once again on Tuesday when the match kicks off. Ronaldo was very clutch in the first game, as he scored with under 10 minutes left to give his team the lead heading to Sweden for the second leg.

Ronaldo had his 63rd goal of the year and now he will get the chance for even more and having a one goal lead heading into the second leg isn't much, but it should be enough to allow the team is play aggressive if they choose to on Tuesday. Ronaldo's goal was the only score in the first match and there were plenty of chances, but both teams played very well on defense and the goaltenders came through as well and even though Portugal dominated in time of possession, now it will come down to just one game.

Ronaldo and his team dominated most of the game with 14 corner kicks and 10 shots on goal to only six from Sweden, but leaving Portugal and heading home with a 1-0 deficit is not the worst thing that could have happened to the team. The two top players are leading their respective teams with four goals in competition and now the Swedish team will do its best to try and keep Ronaldo at bay, but based on the first match that likely will not be an easy things to do.

Sweden was upset with a number of corner kicks that Ronaldo had in the first match and they feel this time around they will have an advantage while being at home. Ibrahimovic did not get as involved as the team would have hoped in the first game and that means the offensive work will likely center around him and that could propel the team into the World Cup draw. The match is expected to get some cold weather and that could keep scoring down and it will be up to Ibrahimovic or Ronaldo to lead their teams to Brazil. The World Cup qualifying match between Portugal and Sweden starts up at 2:45 PM ET from ESPN2 and will be streaming online from Friends Arena in Stockholm.
