The Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos are playing one of the most anticipated games of the season on Sunday night football on NBC and the matchup will be starting up at 8:30 pm at Sports Authority Field at Mile High and will be a crucial matchup in the AFC West as the season draws to a close and the game coverage will be streaming online from NFL.com on the league website.

The Chiefs have been one of the best teams in the NFL this season, but even though they are the last undefeated team at 9-0, many have not given them respect because of the teams they have played on the schedule. The collective records of those teams is a losing one and they also have only played against one team that went to the playoffs last season in the Houston Texans, but they have lost seven games in a row this season at one point so that doesn't mean much. Nine games in a row is great no matter who the teams are, but a win over the Denver Broncos would automatically give them a bit more clout and they will have another shot at the team in two weeks as well. The AFC West division likely will be decided in the next three weeks, as the Broncos and the Chiefs will play on Sunday night before matching up again in two weeks.

Last week the Chiefs had a bye week heading into the Broncos game and before that the team won on the road against the Buffalo Bills and that came after three weeks of games at Arrowhead and that is where the next matchup with the Broncos will be after this game in Week 11. The team has three straight division matchups with the San Diego Chargers coming in the middle of the two Broncos games and after that the team continues a stretch of three road games in five weeks, playing the Washington Redskins and the Oakland Raiders after dealing with the Broncos. The final two games of the season are the Indianapolis Colts and the San Diego Chargers and playoff positioning will play a big part as the final stretch goes down.

The Broncos are dealing with some injuries to Peyton Manning, but he is expected to be fine for the game on Sunday night after dealing with some ankle problems, but Jack Del Rio said that the quarterback would be good to go for the matchup. The top focus for the Chiefs team secondary will be to stop the passing game of Peyton Manning and he has plenty of weapons to throw to in Eric Decker, Julius Thomas, Wes Welker and Demaryius Thomas and that should make the night very interesting for the Chiefs. The team will be focused in on Thomas, as the Chiefs have been very good at matching up with tight ends this season and the Broncos sure have a good one in Thomas that is hard to cover for defenses. The Broncos are coming into the game after winning eight of the past nine games and this would be a huge game to win in the division, as the Chiefs are one game ahead with two to play between each other in the west.
