The Florida State Seminoles are getting ready for a run at the national title game against Alabama after starting the season undefeated and number two in the BCS but that could all change with the police investigation into quarterback Jameis Winston and the team will be on the field for the first time after that against Syracuse on Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium and the game will start up at 3:30 pm on ABC and streaming with coverage online.
The Seminoles are coming into the game after defeating Wake Forest on Saturday and the game was a huge victory of over 50 points and now the team has to take care of business against an ACC opponent and the come in with a 7-0 record in the conference and the team has been one of the best in the nation on offense and defense, ranking in the top five in scoring in both categories and now the Seminoles are in position to run the table and possibly get into the national championship game, but they have three games left and the final one is the toughest with the matchup coming on the road against a state rival in Florida and the Gators should be tough even though they have fallen off a bit. The team has tons of pressure on them and Alabama has some tough games as well with Auburn at the end and the two teams appear to be ready for a matchup for a championship and it would be historic, as the Crimson Tide are looking for their third straight championship.

The Seminoles have been one of the most consistent offensive teams in the nation and Winston is looking like a Heisman candidate apart from his latest news and the wins over Miami, Clemson and Maryland were against top 25 teams and the matchup with the Tigers was huge, as both teams were ranked in the top five heading into the game and through the past three games they have scored over 40 points in each matchup and they haven't scored less than 41 all season and the team is ranked second in the nation in points for on offense with over 50 per game and the defense has been fantastic with 12 points allowed per game and that is good for ranking fourth in the nation this season, The team is averaging over 450 yards per game and Winston has been a huge part of that with over 2,600 yards passing and he also has 26 scores on the season and his play will be the main reason why the team stays undefeated if they can win out.
The team is leading the Atlantic division in the conference with a 7-0 record after taking down Clemson and now they are ranked eighth in the nation and Syracuse and Boston College are hanging behind with Wake Forest and Maryland also there with NC State, who is winless in the conference. The coastal division has Virginia Tech in first place and behind them is Georgia Tech and Duke and to finish the season the team has the Orange along with Idaho and Florida, while Syracuse will play Pitt and Boston College. The Seminoles finish their conference schedule with this game and the team is looking to get on the field after dealing with the issues around Winston.
The redshirt freshman is right there for the Heisman race and just as this final stretch is starting up, reports came out that he may have been involved in a sexual assault case stemming back to last December and now the team and the QB will have to deal with that as the season goes on. The team is undefeated and in position to play Alabama in the national championship game if both teams win their conference championship games and now this will be a story to follow going forward.
