Last season, the Alabama Crimson Tide met their downfall after the LSU game. The team lost to Texas A&M following the big game, ending their undefeated regular season. The team will look to avoid the same fate this week as they travel on the road to face the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Alabama has three games left to earn a perfect regular season. It would be the team's first since 2009. The Tide have a five-game win streak against the Bulldogs, not allowing more than 10 points a game during that stretch. NIck Saban will look to keep that streak alive and avoid a let down following the 38-17 win over LSU.

Saban told reporters earlier in the week that he reminded the team about what happened last year post-LSU and reiterated the need to avoid being afflicted by relief syndrome. Receiver Kevin Norwood echoed the coach's words saying the team was grateful to have the LSU game out of the way, but are certainly hunger for more.

Alabama has three more hurdles before they can book their tickets to Atlanta. After the Bulldogs, the team celebrates senior day against Tennessee-Chattanooga and then faces Auburn in the Iron Bowl on the road.

First comes the Bulldogs, a team Alabama has outscored 155-34 in their last five meetings. They allowed an average of 213.3 yards per game. The past two games have been tough for the Bulldogs who have given up a total of 85 points to South Carolina and Texas A&M. They hung with A&M, putting up 21 points in the fourth quarter. They will hope for some late-game heroics again against the Tide.
