Miami Dolphins guard Richie Incognito could sign with the Seahawks, Broncos or Saints if released and here he tries to stop New England Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork (top R) from sacking Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne in the first quarter of their NFL football game in Foxborough, Massachusetts January 2, 2011."

The Miami Dolphins are embroiled in a big scandal involving lineman Richie Incognito and second year player Jonathan Martin and after suspending Incognito for conduct detrimental to the team, the Fins will have a decision to make about whether to release the OL or not and if they do, Peter King reports that teams like the Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions and Saints could be interested.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Dolphins will have to make a decision soon about Incognito, as any player suspended for conduct detrimental can only be suspended for four games under the CBA. The team has by December 2 to decide whether to bring him back to the active roster to waive him, while they also could bring him back and then suspends him again, but that seems unlikely. Owner Stephen Ross spoke for the first time publically on Monday night before the game against the Buccaneers, which the Dolphins lost, and based on what he said, changes will be coming for the Fins and that could mean changes involving Incognito.

Peter King wrote on Monday Morning Quarterback that despite the racial issues and bullying, Incognito could be a good addition to a number of playoff teams with line issues, including the Seahawks, Saints and Broncos. The report from PFT says that sources have said that Incognito is done with the Dolphins and that mean he will be put on waivers at the deadline and if the Dolphins decide to cut him loose, there surely will be teams looking to pick him up, because this is a bottom line league and all those teams want to win the Super Bowl.

The Dolphins had a terrible game on Monday night and now they will head into two tough home games against the San Diego Chargers and the Carolina Panthers. The team has now lost five of their last six games apart from the overtime win against the Bengals and the way Ross spoke on Monday, it sounds like major changes will be coming during or after the season. Ross plans to meet with Jonathan Martin and that is a very promising development in the situation.
