Roddy White Fantasy: Richard Sherman Calls Atlanta Falcons WR Over Hyped, Seahawks Cornerback Promises Exciting Week 10 Matchup as Feud Continues

The Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks appear to be on different tracks this season, but fans can certainly expect fireworks from their Week 10 matchup no matter what each team's record shows. Seattle comes in to Atlanta with added motivation after being ousted from the playoffs in the Georgia Dome last season. The Falcons need a win desperately. But, it is a wide receiver, cornerback matchup that might make the most headlines come Monday morning.

Roddy White and Richard Sherman do not like each. Both players are normally very outspoken, never shy about expressing their opinions and they have both expressed some hate towards one another. A war of words has been taking place between the two since last January and Sunday will be just another chapter in the book.

White thinks Sherman talks too much. Sherman thinks White is too hyped up of a receiver. When the two last saw one another, White had 76 yards off five passes. Sherman swatted away most passes sent White's way, but the receiver caught one touchdown pass right over Sherman's head, getting the last laugh. Now, White is expected back healthy for Sunday's game and Sherman is excited.

When asked if the cornerback was ready for the challenge of facing White, Sherman simply said, "What challenge?" He followed that up by saying, "It'll be a fun game for us I can guarantee that." This follows up the comments Sherman made saying White did not deserve to be on the Top 100 Players of 2013 list by the NFL Network.

How exciting it will be is the question. White has missed the last month of games for the Falcons after suffering from both ankle and hamstring problems. He has played just five games this year, putting up 129 yards and no touchdowns. Meanwhile, Sherman has four interceptions on the year. White has stressed his return for Sunday's game is not a coincidence.

"I just don't circle games on the calendar,'' White said, via Atlanta Journal Constitution. "Every game that I play, that's the one that is circled throughout the season. There's no particular game that I go out there harder than any other one that I play. We're playing the Seattle Seahawks. They are the best team in NFC right now. We'll be nice and hyped to get a chance to knock these guys off.''

White is not buying into any trash talking this time around. His season has not gone as planned and the receiver is staying focused on adding an extra boost to the struggling Atlanta offense.
