The fantasy football scheduled kicks off on Thursday with the Vikings and Redskins, but before that goes down here is a look at some of the best fantasy football Week 10 sleepers at the tight end position and with players like Julius Thomas and Graham Garrett hurting, John Carlson, Timothy Wright, Zach Ertz and Jared Cook could be solid options to pick up and start on Sunday or Monday for some players.

Thomas has been by far one of the best fantasy players in all of the league this season, but after being limited in practice, owners should have a backup plan and the best option right now is Wright, as he has been coming on in the past few weeks and could continue that against the embarrassment that is the Miami Dolphins on Monday night football for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Wright went to Rutgers, so he obviously is in the good camp for Greg Schiano and that is good for Wright, as he has been targeted more and more in the past few games and with the Buccaneers dealing with the Mike Williams injury, he could be the player to step up.

The Buccaneers are winless and the Mike James is coming in for Doug Martin and while the offense has not been very good, James had 150 yards last week against the Seahawks and now the team is playing a Dolphins squad that is reeling from the Jonathan Martin situation. The team could give Wright some solid looks on Monday and he is coming off of his best game in three weeks with four catches for 58 yards and a touchdown and now he has scores in each of the past two weeks and he has been targeted over 10 times in that span. Having a solid tight end is important for a rookie QB in Mike Glennon and he targeted Wright eight times against the Panthers as well and now he has the chance for another big game. Wright has made 24 catches this season and over the past two weeks he has snagged nine of those and his best game came a few weeks ago with seven catches for 91 yards and he has shown that he can be a legitimate target for Glennon.

Wright has made himself known and is ranked second behind Vincent Jackson in receiving and that shows how much he has come along, as he has 259 yards this season and he has over 100 yards combined in the past two games with 13 targets and he has also shown a knack for the big play. Wright has a catch of over 20 yards in each of the past four games and he could be a scoring threat on Monday night.

Zach Ertz is a solid option for the Eagles and apart from the game against the Giants, he has had solid games in three of the past five with at least 30 yards. Ertz is coming into the game after scoring his first touchdown and that could be a sign of things to come, as he had five catches for 42 yards in the game and over the past three weeks he has nine catches and over 10 targets. Nick Foles could look to him more often now and he could be a solid pickup. Thomas and Garrett may not be able to play or put up as good of numbers this week and those two starts could be the best options as sleepers.
