Riley Cooper Fantasy: Nick Foles Makes Philadelphia Eagles WR Top Option, DeSean Jackson Overshadowed as Receiver Poised for Big Week 10 Performance

There is a budding bromance within the Philadelphia Eagles and it is between Nick Foles and Riley Cooper. The backup quarterback put on a record-tying performance on Sunday with Cooper playing the perfect supporting role. This has become a trend when Foles is under center and as the team prepares to play Green Bay in Week 10 without Michael Vick, the wide receiver could be poised for more big numbers.

Foles will not put up another seven touchdowns and 400 yards passing against the Packers like he did against the Raiders, but the chances he keeps looking Cooper's way is very high. In the three games Foles has started this year, he is 15 for 18 when targeting Cooper. The wide receiver hauled in three touchdowns on Sunday while he brought in one when Foles started against Tampa Bay. He was the leading receiver both games. The receiver notes he was simply happy to be part of the big game.

"I was just out there playing my game," Cooper said, via ESPN.com. "The quarterback put the ball right where it needed to be. I give all the credit to him. It's definitely fun. When you feel like you're contributing, that's the biggest thing. I don't want to get 1,000 yards every game. I don't want multiple touchdowns every game. I just want to contribute."

Foles returned the compliment saying Cooper was a great player and his speed and build really help compliment the offense.

"I'm very proud of Riley. I love him to death," Foles said, via NJ.com. "I thought he played tremendous near his hometown. I'm really, really proud of him. I really think his character has grown, for sure."

Cooper's success will likely come at the hands of which quarterback is playing and right now that is Foles. With Vick continuing to suffer from a hamstring injury, Cooper could emerge as the new leading receiver for the Eagles. Not to take anything away from DeSean Jackson, it is assumed he will always be open. The second-year quarterback has helped Cooper become a legitimate starting receiver in the NFL.

Heading into Sunday, fantasy owners should really make Cooper a starter immediately. He jumps up as the top waiver wire option. At this moment he ranks second on the receiving list for the team, but his chemistry with Foles should not be over looked.
