The New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers are usually always teams that are in playoff contention come November but in 2013 the Steelers are not quite there and while the Pats are 6-2, they are banged up and now the two teams will play on Sunday at Gillette Stadium at 4:25 pm and that should be one of the best matchups on CBS this weekend and it will stream on the main NFL.com website.

The Patriots come into the game a winning and banged up team and while some players are back on offense like Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski, things have not been easy for Tom Brady and the offense this season and they will try to get things right against the Steelers, who have not played well by any stretch this season. The Pats had a nice comeback victory over the Miami Dolphins last weekend and Aaron Dobson led the way for the receivers and now Tom Brady will be looking to get back on track after a few shaky starts and he will do it against a defense that has not played as well as in past years. The Patriots defense is very banged up and that is why they are the second worst rush defense in the league with over 130 yards allowed per game, but the secondary has been much better with just 215 yards allowed and that ranks third in the NFL this season.

The Patriots have already pulled out close wins against the Bills and the New Orleans Saints and the latter one was on an amazing play by Tom Brady at the end of the game and now the team is looking to get back on a winning streak after alternating wins and losses in each of the past four weeks, including a terrible loss to the Jets in overtime that was ended with a controversial penalty call and now they have the Steelers before a tough second half stretch and next week they have a bye week. The Patriots and Steelers usually play tough games and the matchup between Brady and Big Ben Roethlisberger will be fun to watch as both try and get the victory for their team.

The Patriots started off the season with four straight wins before falling to the Cincinnati Bengals and now the team is about to try for a two game winning streak with a road game against the hot Carolina Panthers coming up on Monday night football and after that are some tough games as they will play against the Denver Broncos at home in what could be the final matchup between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning in the regular season ever after the two have played many times. The schedule remains tough for the Patriots and they still have injuries to recover from, as Shane Vereen is expected to come back soon and they also need Amendola to remain healthy.

The Patriots play against Houston on the road after the Denver Broncos matchup and then they host the Cleveland Browns during a stretch of three games on the road in four weeks, including trips to play the Miami Dolphins and the Baltimore Ravens and that comes before a final matchup at home with the Buffalo Bills, who will be looking for revenge after that opening game win. The Steelers have won two of three games but they are struggling after a loss to the Oakland Raiders and now they will go on a stretch with four road games in five weeks after Oakland with the Patriots them home against the Bills and Lions before games against the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens and the back stretch is tough as well. The team has games against the Miami Dolphins as well as the bengals and the Green Bay Packers on the road before finishing with the Cleveland Browns and on Sunday in Week 9 they will play the Patriots on the road.
