The New York Jets are looking for consistency and Sunday's Week 9 meeting will be a great time to start. With their 4-4 record and tough opponent coming to town, check out the Jets' TV schedule and radio coverage info as this game is a must-watch meeting.

Kickoff Time: 1 p.m. ET

TV Channel: FOX

Radio Coverage: ESPN Radio

The New Orleans Saints are one of the league's best teams. They are 6-1 in the season and their offense will be a challenge for this young, tough Jets defense. Drew Brees is always healthy and always seems to be at the top of the stat sheets around the league among the elite quarterbacks in the league today.

Geno Smith is trying to become a franchise quarterback and he has shown, at times, that he can lead his team to victory. However, consistency has been a huge issue for the Jets and Smith. One day they beat a great team and the next day they look like a team that cannot win an NFL game.

The Jets have been consistent about one thing; winning and losing. A loss has always followed a victory in 2013, explaining the even 4-4 record. Smith has been able to put together incredible drives to close out and win games, but then cannot repeat this performance the following week. Last week was a perfect example. The Jets lost badly to the Cincinnati Bengals, 49-9 after defeating the first-place New England Patriots in Week 7 in a tight game, 30-27.

Smith is not the best quarterback, but he has shined when the Jets have needed him the most. He has 1,882 passing yards and eight passing touchdowns. His favorite target is Jeremy Kerley, who has 27 catches for 346 yards and two touchdowns. Stephen Hill has grown into a dominant role as a Jets wide our, catch 23 passes for 340 yards and a touchdown.

Can the Jets do better? Of course, however, they would have to consider getting Smith a quality receiver as Santonio Holmes, probably the most trusting of Jets receivers, is beyond his prime. The rest of the Jets' receivers are simply too young and looking to establish themselves in the league.

Can the Jets defense help the offense and keep this game close? They have the best rush defense in the league, allowing 77.9 yards per game on the ground. In turn, this allows them to keep their total yaradge per game at 315, which is sixth best in the league. They will need a dynamic and consistent effort if they are to beat Brees and the Saints today at Metlife Stadium.
