The Warriors will pound the Clippers from the three-point line. The Clippers will run the ball and jam it through the hoop. Both of these teams have their own style of play, but they can beat you with their quickness as well. The open floor is where they thrive and if they effectively spread the floor, their opponents are doomed.

The Clippers had trouble getting any offense going in the second half of their season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers. As a result, they were pounded by a surprising Lakers' bench that dropped 41 points in 12 minutes. However, it was not all bad news for the Clippers in their first game of the season.

Sure it was disappoint losing to a Laker team that does not have a legitimate All-Star on the floor. Chris Paul finished with a double-double, dishing 11 assists and scoring 15 points as well as DeAndre Jordan, who finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds. They were two of five Clippers who finished in double figures scoring. Blake Griffin added a team-high 19 points, JJ Redick hit four of his first five shots, but only finished with 13 points, while Jamal Crawford added 15 points off the bench, going 3-6 from beyond the arc.

Speaking of beyond the arc, the Warriors lit up the Lakers in their season debut. They had 34 assists, proving they can move the ball well and out-rebounded the Lakers 48-39. Stephen Curry, the clear face of the franchise did not have to do much as the story of the night became the youngster and fellow sharpshooter, Klay Thompson. Thompson went 15-19 from the floor, going 5-7 from three. The team was +30 with Thompson on the floor as they had not difficulty defeating the Lakers.

As a team, the Warriors totaled nine blocked shots, picking up eight steals as well. A healthy David Lee and Andrew Bogut means the Warriors will have a presence in the paint. They each had eight rebounds as Lee added 24 points and Bogut could only get two points in all night. Andre Iguodala had seven points in his debut, playing 27 minutes in this game and racking up four assists, four rebounds and two steals.

These two teams are expected to battle all season long for playoff spots in the Western Conference. They have some of the biggest talents in the league and they should surely provide an entertaining matchup.
