The Jacksonville Jaguars are the worst team in the NFL and winless with an 0-7 record and with the trading deadline coming at 4 pm Tuesday, the team has names that could move and the top one is Maurice Jones-Drew and he could possibly get dealt to the Oakland Raiders, Miami Dolphins or the New England Patriots.

The jaguars and Drew have been mentioned in a number of rumors and according to SI.com, the team is willing to trade him, although they will hold onto him if the value is not right. An ESPN.com article from last week speculated that along with Jones-Drew, players like Jason Babin and Marcedes Lewis could also get dealt, as the team is likely planning a big rebuild since they are so terrible. Drew is the most talented of the group and he fits into a possible trade for the fact that his contract will be up after the season. The veteran back is getting older and teams likely would get him for a mid-round pick, but with the way certain clubs value the running back position, the Jaguars may have to take a lesser deal that they would like if they want to deal him.

CBS Sports reports that league sources have said that Jones-Drew is being mentioned a ton in rumors and that the Jaguars would be willing to move him as long as they are not low balled. Drew is in a similar situation as Darren McFadden with the Raiders, as his contract is up at the end of the season as well and the team has numerous questions to figure out about whether they want to deal him or not.

The 29-year-old is getting up there in age, but he has enough left in him to help a contender and that is why the Patriots seem like an interesting option. Yes, his contract is a bit high at about $5 million, but he will just be a rental with an expiring deal and since Jones-Drew has been playing for a bad team, he hasn't had much of a chance to show what he can do. The Miami Dolphins have come on a bit lately rushing the ball, but they are struggling mightily and could shake up with a deal like this as well and since Drew is a veteran, pass blocking and issues like that should not come up.

The Jones-Drew to Patriots deal was speculated by Greg Garber on ESPN and he writes that the team could have him for just a sixth round pick, which is not much to give up and could help open up the offense for Tom Brady. Jones is a very productive player career wise and while he has just 391 yards this season, he had his best game last week and could finally be over the foot issue that ailed him last season.

Jones-Drew was one of the most consistent backs in football for a period of time and he has 7,659 rushing yards to his name. Before last season he was never injured and played in all 16 games in three of the previous four seasons, but he played in just six last year and had 414 yards. He was over 1,000 three years in a row and now he could be dealt at the deadline from last place to a contender.
