The Detroit Lions won a heck of a game on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, but with the team dealing with some issues at wide receiver after Ryan Broyles was injured, some reports came out that said it was possible the team could try to trade for Josh Gordon, Kenny Britt or Hakeem Nicks at wideout.

According to Pro Football Talk, Broyles may have a torn Achilles and could be done for the season after previously coming back from an ACL injury, but more reports, including from SI.com and FanSided, write that the Lions are not interested in adding a wideout despite the injury. The team has already been dealing with an injury to Nate Burleson and clearly if they were going to make a move, they may have already done so. Nicks, Britt and Gordon appear to be the top wideout names that could move, with Gordon at the top of the list.

The 49ers are the Colts look like options to deal for a wideout and now that Broyles is done, the Lions at least appear to be in a position to do so. Burleson is expected to get back soon and with names like Kris Durham and Joique Bell establishing themselves, the team could get by. On top of that, Calvin Johnson has been insane and after putting up over 300 receiving yards on Sunday, perhaps the Lions feel they don't need anyone else anyway. Nicks and Johnson would just be unfair to the league, as both are huge, while adding players like Britt or Gordon could open things up for the offense even more. The team has been much more productive this season with Reggie Bush in the fold and even without adding anyone they should be dangerous moving forward.

PFT reports that the injury for Broyles is likely an Achilles and that would mean a third straight year of season ending injuries, as he tore his ACL in his right knee previously with the Lions and had the same injury to the other leg while still in college. The Lions pas more than anyone else in the league and to keep up their production, they will need players like Durham to step up before Burleson comes back.

Broyles had one catch in the game against the Cowboys on two targets before getting hurt and he has been a bit marginalized in the past two weeks. He has just eight catches on 14 targets for 85 yards this season and now he may have another lost year with the injury. The Lions are looking good in the NFC North with the win and with the Bears off and the Packers winning, the amazing comeback against the Cowboys helped them keep pace.
