The Fresno State Bulldogs are undefeated this season with a 6-0 record and with the game on Saturday night the team will visit the San Diego State Aztecs at Qualcomm Stadium for a Mountain West conference matchup that will be live on ESPN2 at 10:30 pm and will also be streaming on the Watch ESPN website online.

The Bulldogs are coming into the game ranked in the top 25 at number 17 and they are looking like one of the strongest teams in the conference this season and if they remain undefeated through the year, there is a chance that they could crash or at least muddle up the BCS rankings, which they almost did last season. The team has won four straight games since the matchup at Colorado was postponed and they are undefeated in the conference this season to lead the west division and in the last game Fresno State handled UNLV with a nice offensive performance from David Carr, who was up over 400 yards for the game and that is right in line with what the team has done all season as one of the best passing offenses in the country.

Fresno is up on San Diego State, but both teams are undefeated with the Bulldogs at 3-0 and San Diego at 2-0 in the division and they are up on San Jose State and UNLV at 2-1 and Nevada and Hawaii are at the bottom of the division. The other division has Boise State and Utah State on top at 3-1 and Wyoming is next at 2-1 over Colorado State and at the bottom are New Mexico and Air Force winless at 0-3 and 0-3 this season in the conference. David Carr has the team ranked in the top five in passing offense with over 380 yards per game and the team is also averaging over 170 yards on the ground and the offense has been very productive with Carr at the helm, just like his brother was.

Carr has passed for 23 touchdowns this season with over 2,200 yards and his top receivers have put up some amazing numbers, with 60 receptions for 717 yards and 11 touchdowns for the leader in Adams and Burse with 42 catches for 459 yards and two touchdowns. Carr passed for over 400 yards and five scores in the win over Idaho and the team has now played and won three straight games in the Mountain West and after playing against San Diego, they will play against Nevada and Wyoming before playing New Mexico and then San Jose State. The offense has been one of the best scoring units in the nation with 45 points per game and apart from last week, they scored over 40 points in every game, including 61 in the massive win over Idaho and that game was also on the road.

The game against the Aztecs ends a run of three road games in four weeks and the final game will be away with the Spartans and that game will be on the CBS Sports Network. The Aztecs come into the game with three straight wins after starting off the season 0-3 and one of those games was a big overtime win against Nevada and last game was against Air Force and the first win of the streak came against New Mexico State and they have a tough schedule coming up after Fresno and New Mexico, as they also play three of four games on the road, including against Hawaii and UNLV to end the season.
