NBA Schedule Regular Season Opener: Miami Heat To Wear Gold Uniforms Opening Night Against Chicago Bulls

The Miami Heat are coming into the season as two-time champions and for the NBA regular season opener on Tuesday October 29, the team will be wearing some special attire when they host the Chicago Bulls, as they will wear special gold uniforms and warm up jackets in honor of their title.

According to Pro Basketball Talk, the Heat will wear the special uniforms as they are honored with a championship ceremony and the report says they are called Championship Ring Ceremony Collection jerseys and will be available to buy from the NBA. The team will be taking on Derrick Rose and the Bulls and they are one of the top contenders in the east for the Heat and the news designs were made by adidas and will honor the Miami title run.

The Heat are coming into the season after ranking in the top five of points scored and points allowed last season and they will have a tough road with the Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks all looking improved. The team is 4-2 this preseason and will take on the New Orleans Pelicans, who are undefeated at 6-0 after pulling off big moves for Tyreke Evans and Jrue Holiday this offseason.

The team opened the preseason with three straight wins over the Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Bobcats and then they lost two in a row to Washington and Brooklyn and after defeating the Spurs they will play against the Pelicans and then against the Nets again on their home court to finish out the schedule.

The Heat has a tough slate to start with the Bulls at home and then the team takes on Philadelphia and Brooklyn on the road before playing against the Toronto Raptors. The team has a long home stand starting against the Los Angeles Clippers and after that they will play the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas mavericks before hitting the road again to play the Bobcats.
