The New York Knicks are coming into the end of the preseason starting to get into regular season form and the team will put that to the test on Monday night, as they will face off against the Toronto Raptors in a preseason game from the Air Canada Centre at 7:00 PM, the fifth game for NY this schedule.
The Knicks are coming into the game after winning by 10 against the Washington Wizards on Thursday in the return for Carmelo Anthony to Baltimore and now the team is 2-2 on the preseason, while the Raptors are coming into the game at 2-2 and after this game the Knicks will play another away preseason game against the Bucks. Anthony led the Knicks in scoring for the game back in his hometown against Baltimore against the Wizards and the Knicks are coming into the season after ranking as the 11th team in the league with just at 100 points per game and the defense had been stellar, averaging just under 96 points per game.
The Knicks will be putting out a starting lineup that they likely will use for most of the season, including Raymond Felton, Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler, Andrea Bargnani and Iman Shumpert and Bargnani is making another return to Toronto, the team that traded him to the Knicks. The Raptors are coming in with Rudy Gay and Kyle Lowry as well as Demar DeRozan and the matchup should be pretty good considering the Raptors have won four of five games this preseason.

The Knicks opened the preseason with a win by one over the Boston Celtics on the road and due to the MSG renovations, all of their games have been away from the Garden. The team lost the next two games against the Raptors on the road and then against the Celtics in a blowout and in that game most of the starters did not play much. The team played against the Wizards last and now has a game against the Raptors and their final two games against the Bucks and the Bobcats. The Raptors are coming off of a win against the Boston Celtics and then the team plays against the Memphis Grizzlies after the Knicks.
The Knicks open the regular season with the Bucks at home and then the team plays on the road against the Chicago Bulls before playing at home against the Timberwolves and the Bobcats. The Knicks then play on the road against Charlotte and then will be back home against the Spurs before playing against the Hawks on the road. The team plays against the Rockets and Hawks at home next and on this Monday the team plays against Toronto in the preseason.
