The Seattle Seahawks are coming off of a close victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at CenturyLink Field and after the team improved to 5-1, they were the first ones to play on the schedule for Week 7, and they travelled to face the Arizona Cardinals in an NFC West divisional matchup on the NFL Network for Thursday night football at 8:25 pm at University of Phoenix Stadium and they won that matchup in solid fashion with a 34-22 victory.

The Seahawks are now 6-1 on the season and are next playing the St. Louis Rams in Week 8 and that game will be on Monday night football at the Edward Jones Done next week. The team will be looking for its second straight win since losing to the Indianapolis Colts and they will be looking to improve to 6-1 on the season.

Russell Wilson has been impressive again this year and now the team continues a stretch of four road games in five weeks, with the Cardinals and the Rams next in St. Louis finishing that streak. The team won against Houston to start the road test and then lost to the Colts and after winning at home in a close game against the Titans, they now have another mini stretch of three of four games on the road.

The team then plays against the Rams on the road in a Monday night football matchup, making next week's break a nice long one and then the team is home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before playing on the road against the Atlanta Falcons. That game against the Falcons is a rematch of the playoffs from last season and then following that game they will play at home against the Minnesota Vikings before heading into a late bye week in Week 12.

That bye may give Percy Harvin the time he needs to return for the team and then they go on a crazy stretch to finish the season, as they play their first game out of the bye at home against the New Orleans Saints. That will be their second Monday night matchup of the season and puts a rematch of the playoffs a few years ago and also puts likely two teams that will be there at the end in the NFC playoffs.

Things don't get any easier the following week with a road game against the San Francisco 49ers and after the way those two teams battle, that game could end up deciding the NFC west division. The team then heads east for the New York Giants game in Week 15 and that could be easy apart from the west coast trip and then the team is back home against the Arizona Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams for two divisional games. The team was a surprise playoff team and is a Super Bowl contender this season and should be one of the top teams when the regular season ends.
