The Patriots will try sweeping the season series after taking their Week 2 battle, 13-10. However, do not expect this matchup to be as close.

We know divisional matchups bring the best out of two sides even if one team is exceptionally better than the other. The Patriots come into this game as the exceptional team, while the Jets are so-so. 2013 has been filled with magical moments that have given the Jets' fan base a lot of hope heading into the new season with a new quarterback, but when the Jets and Patriots met at Foxborough in a rainy day, Brady and his offense were not on the same page.

Brady was frustrated back in September. He did not know his receivers. His receivers did not know what competing at the NFL level meant. This created a lot of stress for the three-time Super Bowl champ. Like a pro, Brady led his team through some sloppy games, but with performances good enough to get wins. The defense played their part, holding opponents close.

Look for the Jets to rely on their running game. This will only be possible if Smith is able to successfully get the ball to his receivers, which has been a challenged for the first-year QB. The Jets are only averaging 220 passing yards per game. Their running game averages 115 yards per game, steaming their offense week after week.

For the Patriots, the key is Brady and the defense. It is known that Smith is vulnerable to inteceptions. The Patriots will have to be patient, avoid jumping routes and let the interceptions come to them. On offense, they can just let No. 12 handle his business.
