The Eagles are coming off consecutive victories. They finally return to Lincoln Financial Field where they host the Cowboys. Both teams are 3-3 in 2013 and the winner will have possession of first place in the NFC East.

The Cowboys hit the road after going 1-1 at home, almost beating the undefeated Denver Broncos and then punishing the Washington Redskins in Sunday Night Football's Week 6's game. Suddenly, the Cowboys have a dynamic special team with Dwayne Harris running the ball back. He totaled 110 return yards, highlighted by an 86-yard punt return that gave the Cowboys a 14-3 lead that put them up for good.

The offenses for both teams are great, but the defenses have struggled heavily. When Tony Romo throws a touchdown and turns around on the bench, the Cowboys' defense gives up a big play. The defense is allowing 413 total yards per game.

Eagles fans, don't laugh.

While Cowboys' defense has been weak, the Eagles' defense has been futile. They are giving up 420 yards of offense, the worst in the league. There were talks of a lot of conditioning going on in camp, but apparently, those were only for the offense. The schemes and plays are working, even with Nick Foles at quarterback, but the defense looks tired and slow as the game progresses, giving the opposition a chance to come back.

There is nothing to worry about for either team. If they lose this game, it will not be the end of the season. The NFC is one of the worst divisions in the NFL and it looks as though things will be settled in the latter stages of the season as none of the four teams have gathered enough steam or consistency to be considered the front runner in the division.

However, look for this Week 7 matchup to feature a lot of offense. Criticize Romo, but he has an arsenal on offense and he knows how to use them (just not in the clutch). If Foles can run the offense successfully, look for the Eagles to match the Cowboys toe-to-toe. However, look for Philadelphia to use their running game as LeSean McCoy is one of the league's most potent backs.
