The Chicago Bears have had a long week to prepare for their next game against the Washington Redskins after defeating the New York Giants on Thursday night football and now on Sunday the team will travel to FedEx Field to play against another NFC East team and the game will be on Fox at 1:00 PM ET.

The game is a nice matchup of quarterbacks with Jay Cutler and Robert Griffin III and the Bears come into the game at 4-2 at the top of the NFC North division with the Lions, while the Redskins have been pretty bad this year, starting 1-4 just ahead of the Giants in the terrible NFC East. The division will have a new leader with the Eagles and Cowboys battling on Saturday both with 3-3 records, while the Giants are playing this week on Monday night football against the Vikings. The Bears allowed the Giants to hang in for a while on Thursday, but their defense prevailed and forced multiple turnovers and now they are preparing for another potentially tough offense.

Jay Cutler comes into the game after having a solid start to the season under new head coach Marc Trestman and the offense has been much more productive than it was at this point last season. The passing offense is ranked in the top 15 of the league and the rushing offense with running back Matt Forte is averaging over 100 yards per game. Forte has been heavily involved in the offense and he is well on his way to another 1,000 yard season, but it has mostly come on his shoulders, as Cutler is the second leading rusher on the team and that is never good unless the team's quarterback is Griffin or someone like that.

Cutler has over 1,600 yards already this season with 12 touchdowns, while Forte is nearing 500 yards and he has scored three times this season on the ground. Cutler has had plenty of help for once from his receivers, as Alshon Jeffery, Brandon Marshall and Martellus Bennett have all been consistent targets. Marshall is leading the team with 40 receptions for 465 yards and five touchdowns, while Jeffery has really come on as a sleeper option with 29 catches for 456 yards and two touchdowns and he has shown a knack for the big play as well. Cutler passed for two touchdowns last week and has thrown four with zero interceptions over the past two weeks and now he is facing a secondary that is ranked near the bottom of the league in passing yards per game, meaning he could be in for another big day.

The Bears started the season 3-0 with wins over the Bengals, Vikings and Steelers before losing two in a row to the Lions and Saints and after playing the Giants the team now has the Redskins on the road before their bye week. The team has a huge divisional game on the road against Green Bay out of the bye and then they will play two games at home against the Detroit Lions and the Baltimore Ravens. The Packers game will be on Monday night football and the team will play two road games after the Steelers against the Rams and Vikings beroe another Monday night game.
