The Spurs are fresh off a loss, but they played a great battle in Moscow, winning 95-93 in an overtime game. Manu Ginobili exploded off the bench, going 3-3 from three, finishing with 14 points. The Spurs' bench stepped up huge, as Patrick Mills led the way, scoring 14 points and Aron Byrnes added 12 of his own. It was a cool start for the Spurs, who shout 43.7 percent from the floor and went 7-21 from three.

In their loss, the Spurs faced the Phoenix Suns, dropping their Sunday meeting 106-99. Mills once again made great contributions from the bench, adding 11 points, going 3-5 from three. Ginobili could not find his range, going 1-5 from beyond the arc. Tim Duncan had a solid outing, scoring 12 points with four rebounds. Duncan will be chasing after another ring, it will not be a great season unless they can win it all.

The Houston Rockets look like the true opponent in the West and if the Oklahoma City Thunder can get healthy, then they will also be a tough matchup for the Spurs.

Tonight, the Spurs will play another 1-1 team in the Denver Nuggets. They recently lost to the Los Angeles Lakers, winning their only preseason game against the purple and gold.
