Oakland Raiders TV Schedule: Kansas City Chiefs Week 6 Start Time and Channel Coverage On CBS Sunday

Oct 13, 2013 11:34 AM EDT

The Oakland Raiders are much improved on defense this season after making a number of free agent signings in the offseason and while the offense has not been quite up to par, the team looked good on Sunday night in their win over the San Diego Chargers and they will try to put an end to the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs at 5-0 on Sunday at 1 pm on the CBS early game at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Raiders have been dealing with a number of injuries, but quarterback Terrelle Pryor has been excellent while starting consistently for the first time, including rushing the ball, as the team is ranked in the top 10 in rushing yards per game with over 130 per contest, although they are just under 200 passing per game so far this season. The Raiders opened up with a close loss to the Indianapolis Colts that looks good after they started 4-1 and the team next defeated the still winless Jacksonville Jaguars at home before hitting the road and losing to the Denver Broncos.

Here is more on the NFL Week 6 schedule and fantasy football advice for owners from SWR.

The team then lost against the Washington Redskins at home and then played at home on Sunday night against the Chargers in a game that was pushed back due to the Athletics in the MLB playoffs and clearly it helped, as the team won by 10 and now they will travel to one of the most unforgiving places in the league in Arrowhead as they try to knock off the 0-5 Kansas City Chiefs. The team has been much improved with Alex Smith and Andy Reid and they have a tough defense that will be hard to score against and getting a win would be huge for the Raiders, as they head into their bye week after playing against the Chiefs.

The team comes out of the bye with home games against the Pennsylvania teams, as they will welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Philadelphia Eagles in consecutive weeks and then they will play four of the next five games on the road. The team will next play the NY Giants on the east coast after playing the Eagles and then they will travel to play the Houston Texans and then they will be home for one game against the Titans before going on the road again at Dallas to play the Cowboys and then to New York again to play the Jets.

The Raiders have a tough stretch to finish the season with a home game against the Kansas City Chiefs and then the team plays on the road against the San Diego Chargers before finishing against the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs have been playing very well on both sides of the ball and after defeating the Titans, Giants, Eagles, Cowboys and Jaguars, the team will play at home for three straight games against the Oakland Raiders, Houston Texans and then the Cleveland Browns before hitting the road against the Buffalo Bills and then the team heads into its bye week.
