The St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Dodgers hook up for Game 2 of the NLCS about 15 hours after playing a dramatic series opener. We bring you TV channel info and game time as some changes will be made in the broadcast of the N.L. Championship Series.

Game Time: 4 p.m. ET

TV Channel TBS

This is probably the best thing for a baseball fan, aside from a doubleheader. You finish watching a game past midnight and by the time you wake up, it's almost game time. The Dodgers and Cardinals will play with shadows in an afternoon game that will eventually make its way to the night. Hopefully, for the sake of the players, this game does not go past Saturday as Game 1 took over five hours to complete.

Carlos Beltran was it for the Cardinals in Game 1. Apparently, he does not want to retire without winning a championship. Well, the Cardinals are three games from advancing to the World Series and seven away from winning the entire thing. They are equipped with young arms and durable veterans. Joe Kelly started Game 1 and it was the playoff bambino, Beltran, who won the game for the team.

The Dodgers had their chances against the Cardinals' bullpen, but every time they were in the middle of a rally, they seemed to finish the inning with a double play. The clutch hit did not exist on Friday night as St. Louis' pitchers dominated when the pressure was on.

Mark Ellis, Carl Crawford and Juan Uribe had the most successful nights, getting two hits each. However, Cardinals' pitching did not bother throwing to Hanley Ramirez after Adrian Gonzalez was removed from the game in the eighth inning. Ramirez was walked three times as pitchers took their chances with Michael Young and an eager Yasiel Puig.

Puig has to understand, getting on base is just as good as hitting a home run. It will not guarantee he scores a run, but he will put pressure on the defense and could possibly create a run when he is on the base pads.

If the Dodgers give Beltran the Ramirez treatment, then they will need somebody else to come up big. Beltran was responsible for driving in all three Cardinals' runs in Game 1.

Do not miss the action in Game 2 as TBS airs all the action. It's Michael Wacha against baseball's best, Clayton Kershaw.
