The Aaron Hernandez murder case will have another day in court on Wednesday, as the former New England Patriots will be appearing for a pretrial hearing in Fall River Superior Court in the case involving the death of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.

Hernandez last appeared in court in September for an arraignment in superior court and he pleaded not guilty to the six charges against him, including the one for first degree murder in the shooting death of Lloyd, who he was associated with through his fiancé Shayanna Jenkins. Lloyd was reportedly dating the sister of Jenkins and the two knew each other for two years before an alleged incident at a nightclub set the events in motion that ultimately led to his death and Hernandez could also be facing more charges involving another man named Alexander Bradley, a former friend and associate.

Hernandez has been denied bail multiple times in the case over the summer and at his arraignment the trial judge said that his lawyers could ask for bail once again at a later date and that could come on Wednesday. The scheduled appearance for Hernandez is his first since being arraigned and comes after charges were filed against both his fiancé Shayanna Jenkins and his cousin Tanya Singleton, who was charged with conspiracy to commit accessory after the fact.

Singleton was held in contempt previously after refusing to testify in front of the grand jury and now she could be facing further charges stemming from her involvement in helping Ernest Wallace leave the state after the Lloyd murder. Jenkins was charged with one count of perjury and while the charges have been described as overreaching by her lawyers, it could turn into something more serious once the details come out and they describe what she may have lied about.

The charges against Jenkins might be overreaching, but since they are involved in a murder case, they carry a heavy sentence if she is convicted and she will be arraigned in court sometime over the next couple weeks. Both accomplices in the case Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace have been charged with crimes and now Hernandez is facing more issues, as a man he is associated with in Alexander Bradley was called to testify before a grand jury about a double murder from Boston last year.

Bradley first sued Hernandez for shooting him and injuring his eye in an incident in Florida from this year and then more details came out about a drunk driving arrest that happened to him while the two were together. Following that, Bradley was called before the grand jury to testify in the investigation looking into whether Hernandez was involved in a double shooting in Boston last year and after he was apprehended, he claimed that the two were together that night.

The double murder from last summer is still unsolved and while the murder weapon has been found, Hernandez has not been officially charged. A vehicle thought to be used in the shooting was traced back to Hernandez's uncle's home and now Hernandez has also been identified as the man who did the shooting by an unnamed witness, who told his story to reporters and said he recognized Hernandez from photos of him on television.
