"

The Aaron Hernandez murder case will be back in court on Wednesday, as the accused murderer will be in Fall River Superior court for a pretrial hearing and the day may include scheduling issues, more information on the case as well as a possible request for bail.

Hernandez was last in court back in September and pleaded not guilty to six charges, including first degree murder as well as five other weapons charges. The gun in the murder of Odin Lloyd has still not been discovered and police believe it was a .45 caliber weapon that killed him. Hernandez is facing life in prison for the charges and so far it appears the state will use testimony from accomplice Carlos Ortiz, but he changed his story from what he previously told police, which could complicate things.

Hernandez will have a pre-trial hearing ahead of the arraignment of his fiancé, which will come later in the month for perjury charges in the case. Hernandez's cousin Tanya Singleton is also being charged with crimes in the case, as are Ortiz and another accomplice in Ernest Wallace. Ortiz previously said that Wallace told him that Hernandez admitted to the crime and that Hernandez and Wallace stepped out of the car the night of the murder, but he then changed the story to say that it was just Hernandez.

The defense has said that the case is circumstantial and they also have argued that the state has no real case against Hernandez based on the evidence. Hernandez was arrested for the murder of Odin Lloyd a week after the body was found less than a mile from his home in North Attleboro and he has been held without bail since then, being denied multiple times due to the gravity of the charges and his ability to flee due to his money. The judge said in September that he could request bail again and that could come on Wednesday in Fall River.

Hernandez's fiancé was looked into by police after they believed she may have disposed of the murder weapon, but after searching a storage unit in her name, the gun still was not found. The gun in a double murder in Boston from last year was found and Hernandez could be connected to that case, as the car used in the drive by shooting was found at his uncle's house and now a man has identified him as the shooter, saying he recognized his picture.

Hernandez and his lawyers have claimed that the case is circumstantial while the state says they have plenty of evidence in the case. The family of Odin Lloyd has been coming to every court appearance and last time Hernandez was in court, his mother Terri and his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins were there, but it is unclear if they will be attending again on Wednesday.
