On the mound for the Pirates and Cardinals; Charlie Morton vs. Michael Wacha. These two pitchers have never been in the playoffs before, so who knows what they will provide for their teams in today's meeting. Instead, let's focus on the batting lineups as both the Cardinals and Pirates have key players on offense to watch for entering Game 3.

Cardinals Batting Lineup
1. Matt Carpenter 2B
2. Carlos Beltran RF
3. Matt Holliday LF
4. Matt Adams 1B
5. Yadier Molina C
6. Jon Jay CF
7. David Freese 3B
8. Pete Kozma SS
9. Michael Wacha P

Carlos Beltran is bringing as he continues to pursue his first World Series championship. He is 4-12 with two home runs and six RBI with only one strikeout in the first three games of this series.

Pirates Batting Lineup
1. Starlin Marte LF
2. Neil Walker 2B
3. Andrew McCutchen CF
4. Justin Morneau 1B
5. Marlon Byrd RF
6. Pedro Alvarez 3B
7. Russell Martin C
8. Clinton Barmes SS
9. Charlie Morton P

Pedro Alvarez is red hot, like Beltran, he's hit two home runs in the 2013 postseason and he is providing big hits for the Pirates' offense. Another big bopper is Andrew McCutchen, but that is expected. Though Martin is only hitting .222 through the first three games, his hits have been huge, driving in four runs in the NLDS.
