The Los Angeles Lakers are coming into the season with a number of questions and the health of Kobe Bryant is a paramount one and after adding some new players in the offseason, one is dealing with an injury himself in Wesley Johnson.

According to ESPNLosAngeles.com, Johnson suffered a foot injury in the preseason game against the Nuggets on Saturday, forcing him to come out of the game and now he will have an MRI. The report says that Johnson strained his left foot and that he could be out for some time, although it doesn't appear to be serious. The Lakers signed Johnson in the offseason as one of their top bench options and after he averaged eight points last season for the Suns, he could be a solid depth option off the bench.

ESPN.com reports that Monday he will have the exam and that Xavier Henry also left the game on Sunday with an issue on his wrist. During the game he scored 15 points he will be another player to watch out for as the preseason goes on, as the team needs depth and he is fighting to just make the team.

The Lakers have a number of old players in Bryant, Steve Nash and Pau Gasol and they cannot afford to lose much off the bench heading into the season.

"There was some burning sensation in his foot," Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni said to ESPN. "We're hoping [it is] not bad."
