Oct 06, 2013 12:44 PM EDT

The Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers are facing off in a tough NFC North matchup on Sunday at 1:00 PM on FOX at Lambeau Field in Wisconsin and it is a huge game for the Pack, as they are coming off of a bad loss against the Bengals and could fall to 1-3 with a loss on Sunday.

The Lions are tied for first place with the Chicago Bears in the division and the Packers need to get back on track after letting Cincy come back to win last week. Aaron Rodgers is having another nice season, but even he needs to do more to get the Packers over the top this week and now that they have had their bye early, they are ready to get on a nice streak starting with the Lions, which will continue with a road game against the Ravens before hosting the suddenly 3-0 Cleveland Browns over their last three games since trading away Trent Richardson, making that game tougher than it once looked.

The Packers then play two division games in a row with a road test against Minnesota before playing the Bears in Chicago on the road at Soldier Field in a matchup that will be on Monday night football. The team has tough games against the NFC East in the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants and that latter game will come on the road and despite the fact that the team is terrible, it still could be a very tough game. The team then has two more divisional games in a row, with a home matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, while the Detroit Lions will be next on the road at Ford Field.

The Packers then will play on the road in Jerry's world for a game against the Dallas Cowboys and then the team will host the Steelers are Lambeau before playing against the Chicago Bears on the road in Week 17 for a matchup at 1 pm. The team is ranked third in the league in passing yards per game already with over 320 per contest and on Sunday the team is expected to use Johnathan Franklin and Eddie Lacy while James Starks is out and a solid running game could really open things up for Rodgers.

The Lions are coming off a nice game against the Lions and Reggie Bush has been a huge addition for the team and Matthew Stafford could have a big day against a team that is giving up over 300 yards per game in the air. The Lions pass more than any other team in the league and their defense will be tested on Sunday. Aaron Rodgers has played well this season and he will need another strong game for the Packers to win in Week 5 and they sure could use it, especially since it's a division game.
