Best Fantasy Football Week 5 Sleepers: LeGarrette Blount, Rashad Jennings, Eddie Lacy, Austin Collie and Nate Washington

The NFL schedule is into week 5 after the Cleveland Browns defeated the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night football and with fantasy football owners looking for the best players to pick up for the weekend, some solid sleepers include LeGarrette Blount, Rashad Jennings, Eddie Lacy, Austin Collie and Nate Washington.

The Patriots offense has been getting better and better each week as Tom Brady gets more comfortable with rookies Kenbrell Thompkins and Aaron Dobson while Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski out of action and one player that has been solid is LeGarrette Blount. The running back could be a nice sleeper going forward, as he is a powerful back that could get plenty of goal line carries.

The team is dealing with an injury to Shane Vereen and with Stevan Ridley not being as productive as last season, Blount could continue to be productive. The past two weeks he has had at least 60 yards rushing and with him averaging close to five yards per carry on 34 carries this season, he could continue to get touches. Blount is likely the best option of the Patriots backs since he will get touchdowns and this week he could have a big game against the Bengals.

Jennings is a very solid pickup for owners of Darren McFadden, as he is out with a hamstring injury and could miss the game this weekend against the Chargers. McFadden is always injured and going forward this season Jennings is a must-add for any McFadden owners and he was very good last week, especially for anyone in PPR leagues. Jennings only had six carries over the first three weeks of the season, but on Sunday against the Redskins he had 22 touches total, with 14 carries for 45 yards to go along with eight catches for 71 yards.

Jennings could continue to be productive in the passing game and if McFadden is out for a long period, he is a solid sleeper starting option for the rest of the year. Washington and Collie are interesting WRs to look at, as Washington has been the most consistent option for the Titans, including last week when he made four catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns.

Washington has 30 targets and 19 receptions this season for over 330 yards and he could be a solid option going forward, especially if Kenny Britt is moved. The team has a new quarterback playing after Jake Locker was injured, but someone has to catch passes from Ryan Fitzpatrick. Collie has had injury issues, but with the 49ers struggling with injuries, the team will try and Collie involved and he could be a good option in deeper leagues only.
