The Monday Night Football matchup for Week 4 of the NFL season is a great matchup of undefeated teams, as Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins travel to the Superdome to play against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, putting two 3-0 teams head to head early in the year.

The Saints and Dolphins are hoping for 4-0 to join the Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs and the way those teams are playing, it would be a nice feeling to say their teams are 4-0 alongside them. The Saints would love nothing more than to start 4-0 after starting last season 0-4 without coach Sean Payton and now that he is back in the fold, the offense is humming along like usually and Drew Brees has the team second ranked in the NFL in passing yards per game already.

Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is looking much improved from being a rookie last season and he has already pulled out two close games and has been very accurate with the ball, passing for over 60 percent in each of his first three games this season. Mike Sherman is looking for more balance on the offense and this game could be a good time to find it, as the Saints are ranked 21st in rushing yards allowed per game, an area where the Fins have struggled so far.

Tannehill will try and get the run game going early with Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas and the Saints defense will be ready for Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline on the outside at receiver. The Saints are coming off of a dominating win over the Arizona Cardinals last week and that came after a gutty win against the winless Buccaneers 16-14 that was marred by rain and weather delays. The Saints won their opening game against the Falcons and they are already 2-0 in the NFC South with a third of their division games out of the way.

The team doesn't have another divisional opponent for a while and next week they face another tough test, as the 3-1 Bears and Jay Cutler will welcome them to Soldier Field for a matchup in Chicago. New head coach Marc Trestman has the team playing some good football and despite losing on Sunday to the Lions, they will be ready for the Saints. The New England Patriots are next on the schedule and they could remain undefeated by the time the Saints come to town, as that game will be in Week 6 before a bye for New Orleans.

The second half of the season starts with a game against the Buffalo Bills, no easy feat after the way they just beat the Ravens and then the Saints will travel to New York to play the Jets. The next two games will be at home, with one being a Sunday night matchup against the Dallas Cowboys before the San Francisco 49ers revisit where they played the Super Bowl in Week 11.

Brees and company will need to be on top of their game all season, as after the Niners game the Saints have a road game against the Atlanta Falcons and that is the first of two straight primetime games. The team will next play against the Seattle Seahawks on the road on Monday night football and then they will host the Panthers. That game comes as a home game sandwiched between four road games, including Week 15 against the Rams and Week 16 against the Panthers again. The team then finishes with a home contest against the division rival Buccaneers.
