Broncos vs. Eagles Score: Play-by-Play, Live Updates and Stats of Week 4 Meeting

Sep 29, 2013 03:59 PM EDT

The Philadelphia Eagles make their way to Sport Authority Field at Mile High as they take on the undefeated Denver Broncos, who have galloped past opponents in the first three games this season. Check out the live scoring updates of the Eagles vs. Broncos as Week 4 presents a pretty exciting matchup that should lead to a high scoring affair.

The Eagles are 1-2 and the Broncos are 3-0.

The Eagles' sole victory came against the struggling Washington Redskins, who almost mounted a comeback late in their season opener. In the following meeting, we saw the Eagles once again score a lot of points, but their defense could not hold the San Diego Chargers' offense led by Philip Rivers. Then finally, in Week 3, the Eagles' offense was stymied by the currently undefeated Kansas City Chief, scoring only 16 points. With the loss, the Eagles lost their second game of the season, their second consecutive defeat.

Luckily, the NFC East is weak this season as no clear team is off to a dominant start.

The Broncos have not needed luck this year, it's all Peyton Manning's savviness at the quarterback position that has the Broncos scoring points at a relentless pace. The Baltimore Ravens were the first to fall to the Broncos, in the 2013 NFL season open. The New York Giants hung in there through the first half, but then Peyton shut things down, crushing the Giants 41-23. On Monday, the Broncos took the Oakland Raiders to school.
