The Chicago Bears are one of the early leaders in the NFL with a 3-0 record and they will be taking on the fellow division rival the Detroit Lions on the road and this comes after a dominating win over the Steelers last Sunday night after a nice game from Jay Cutler and now the team will be looking to go 4-0.

The Lions are coming into the game at 2-1 and have looked impressive, while the Bears have been looking good on both sides of the ball and will try and continue that strong play into Week 4 as they travel on the road for the second straight week after opening with two home games at Soldier Field. A look back on the Bears season so far has the team winning some exciting game already under Marc Trestman.

The Chicago Bears pulled out a victory in Week 1 after a nice comeback against the Cincinnati Bengals and it appears quarterback Jay Cutler likes to keep things exciting, as the team won again in Week 2 after a comeback, with Martellus Bennett scoring a touchdown with less than 10 seconds left to get the lead and the victory.

The game between the Vikings and the Bears was one of the most exciting of the weekend and the team fell behind late after a field goal from Minnesota, but Cutler was able to drive down the field before hitting Bennett with a perfect pass to win the game. Marc Trestman improved to 2-0 in his first two games as Bears head coach and now Chicago is sitting atop the NFC North early in the season with two tight victories. Cutler set up the final play with an earlier pass to Bennett down the sidelines and Devin Hester had a big games for the team as well, setting a franchise record with nearly 250 yards while returning kickoffs and the field position helped a great deal all game.

Cutler was more accurate than usual and missed on just 11 of his 39 passes on the day and he had nearly 300 yards passing and three touchdowns, including one to his favorite target in Brandon Marshall. Bennett came over from the Giants as a free agent and he has been a great weapon for Cutler and they connected for 76 yards and the other two touchdowns and the Chicago offense is playing much more consistently than last season and Matt Forte was a big part as well.

The big plays for Minnesota included a long kickoff return for Cordarrelle Patterson to start the game, while Adrian Peterson rushed for 100 yards, but it wasn't enough to win on Sunday. Peterson rushed for a 78-yard touchdown to open the season and while he had 100 yards Sunday, he has been slow to start this year after rushing for 2,000 yards last season. Marshall continued his strong start to the season with seven catches for 113 yards and one score and he has been one of the most consistent receivers over the last two years, putting up huge numbers with Cutler.

Marshall opened the season with eight catches for 104 yards and one touchdown and now he has gone back to back games with a touchdown reception and a 100-yard receiving game and he has been targeted 20 times already this season. Any fantasy owner in a PPR league should go after Marshall, as he has a solid matchup with nearly any corner in the league and he is on pace to be the best receiver in fantasy this season.

Cutler is looking much improved after two games this season, as he completed over 63 and 71 percent of his passes in the first two games of the year and he has thrown five touchdowns during that span as well. Cutler has led the team to late victories in each of the first two games and that was often a big knock on him and clearly playing in the new offense for Trestman has been a big help. Matt Forte has shown why he could be one of the most productive backs in the league, as he had 90 yards rushing against the Vikings and also added 11 catches for 71 yards and he could be a huge scoring threat in PPR leagues for the Bears.
