Sep 28, 2013 09:51 AM EDT

The LSU Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs are playing in a matchup of top 10 teams on Saturday in Athens and to mark the occasion, ESPN's College GameDay heads to SEC country to host from the game, with Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit leading the way with Lee Corso and Desmond Howard and the game could be one of the best of the weekend.

The SEC is the toughest conference in football and the Tigers come into the game at 4-0, while the Bulldogs are 2-1 after losing to Clemson to open the season. The Tigers know that a game against Alabama is coming up later in the season, but first they must get past Georgia and Aaron Murray and that is always a tough test and this time around it will be even tougher since the game is in Athens, which always rocks hard for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs game is the first of two straight road games for the Tigers, as Mississippi State is next and then the team has a huge divisional game against the Florida Gators and that could help decide who ends up in the SEC championship game, which Georgia was in last season before losing to the Crimson Tide, who obviously went on to win the championship. This stretch will be the toughest for the Tigers, as they have three road games in their next four matchups including Georgia, with Ole Miss coming after the Florida game.

LSU's final stretch of the season will be tough apart from a home game against Furman that's a joke, with Ole Miss coming before that and Alabama the week after that. The team has a bye after the Alabama game and then they host Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M in what could be a huge game with big SEC and BCS implications. The team finishes the season with Arkansas and their best way to get ahead of Alabama in the BCS is to beat them in their matchup, as the defending champs will make it into the SEC championship game if they remain undefeated, which obviously means they beat LSU.

Georgia is ranked ninth in the nation with Aaron Murray in passing yards per game and the team also has a nice rushing attack and they will need all they have to defeat the Tigers. The team lost to Clemson in a tough game to open the season before playing and winning against South Carolina and North Texas, while the schedule gets tougher after the Tigers game. The team will play against Tennessee next before hosting Missouri and then travelling to Vandy and then he is home against the Florida Gators, which could be a huge game in the division. The Bulldogs have a tough stretch, but after losing to Clemson, they can't afford to drop one or two more games.
