The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a train wreck this season at 0-3 and now that head coach Greg Schiano has benched starter Josh Freeman in favor of rookie Mike Glennon, it could mean that he is headed out of town in a trade and the quarterback feels that probably is the best option.

According to ESPN.com, Freeman said that the "best option" moving forward is to trade him and while speculation has moved around to the Cleveland Browns and the Minnesota Vikings, so far it has been more rumors than reports. Freeman got off to a terrible start this season and already there were reports from last year that Greg Schiano was not happy with his play at quarterback.

This season Freeman has not completed over 50 percent of his passes in three games and now trade options could come, especially since according to Pro Football Talk, there is a chance that Freeman may not even be the backup on Sunday, rather he could be listed as third string. Freeman has been dreadful this season and so have the Buccaneers and now the team will try to turn things around before their bye week comes up.

The team needed to make some major changes after losing badly against the Patriots and Schiano opted to go with the rookie quarterback rather than sticking with Freeman. Schiano and his quarterback have already has issues this season, including with the team captain vote and now it appears that Freeman could be gone before 2013 ends. Either way he will be gone, as his contract is up after this season and now the front office likely will see if there are any trades out there that could be had.

Freeman has been nothing short of terrible this season and it now paints the 2009 draft class in a different light apart from Matthew Stafford, who clearly has the goods. Mark Sanchez has obviously been bad the past two seasons and now he lost his starting job to an injury. Freeman has passed for just 571 yards this season and two touchdowns with three interceptions and now both Sanchez and Freeman will be gone from the teams that drafted them in 2014.
